Our Food Delivery Programs

Every school in our community has a pantry to help ensure that no child goes hungry. These pantries provide food for students who may come to school without breakfast or lunch, can’t afford a meal, or need extra food to take home for the weekend.

Pack the Pantry is our program dedicated to keeping those shelves full. Each month, our volunteers pick up boxes of food and deliver them to 42 local schools across Randolph County—helping make sure every child has access to the nourishment they need to learn and thrive.

When school is out, many children lose access to regular meals. To bridge that gap, our Summer & Christmas Feeding Program delivers food boxes directly to the homes of more than 500 food-insecure children in our community.

Every two weeks during school breaks, volunteers pick up boxes from the pantry containing two weeks’ worth of food and deliver them to families who might otherwise go without. Together, we help ensure that children continue to have nutritious meals even when school cafeterias are closed.

This program is especially important because summer break is the longest period of time school-aged children go without access to school-provided meal support, and extended breaks like Christmas break are often overlooked. We proudly support the Backpack Pals program, organized by COAT (Community Outreach of Archdale-Trinity). Through this partnership, bags of food are sent home every Friday with local children in need—providing them with essential meals to get through the weekend.
